And the long awaited Sunday morning, November 13, 2016 finally arrived. We were all ready to walk out the door (pretty much lol) about 15 minutes early. I was just about to start my usual double and triple checking of my lists, walking around looking for things that may have been overlooked, having the kids take one last trip to the bathroom, making sure the lights were turned off, etc, etc, and then our ride backed down the driveway saving me and everyone else from my madness lol.
We were expecting to be picked up by Baumer Transportation, but I did not look them up or realize that they were a limo company. As if being picked up at home and being driven to the airport was not treat enough seeing a looong stretch white limo in the driveway was a real surprise! How fun and classy. And very roomy too, there was a bench seat for Ashton and Emma, Ashton’s wheelchair, Sydney as well as one for Ken and I. Their service was impeccable. They even held on to Emma’s booster seat for when they picked us up to take us back home. It sure did make getting everyone and everything to the airport so much less stressful.

All five of us enjoyed our ride to the airport in style. We got our boarding passes, made it through security, hit the bathrooms and then who did we run into waiting at the gates? Pam Hurtis who is Emma’s and was Ashton’s second grade teacher. Her and another second grade teacher, Amy Trawicki were waiting for the same flight to Chicago to catch our connecting flights to separate destinations.
