Seeing & Understanding Duchenne

Action 4 Ashton > What is Duchenne? > Seeing & Understanding Duchenne

A picture is worth a thousand words. And pictures are very helpful in explaining how Duchenne affects everyday life. A very talented photographer and father of a son with Duchenne, Mitch Sevier, created eight incredible images that truly capture what Duchenne “looks” like. He donated the images so they could be shared and used to help educate about Duchenne. There is a page for each image here on Action4Ashton.org. Please take a moment to look at each one to better understand how Duchenne is and will be affecting Ashton’s life listed below as well as in the menu. These images are published by Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy. You can download them here and use them to create some Duchenne Awareness.
